My name is Brittany and you’ve reached a piece of my past. I used to be a long-form journalist based in Oregon. This website includes pieces written during my internship at the East Oregonian newspaper as part of the Charles Snowden Excellence in Journalism Program as well as pieces published in the award-winning student-run magazines Ethos Magazine and OR Magazine at the University of Oregon.

While I’m no longer a journalist, I am still fascinated by the human condition. I’ve spent the last three years working as a medical scribe at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart emergency departments in Eugene and Springfield, OR. I plan to attend medical school and spend my career helping others live their happiest and healthiest lives.
